An introduction to the new Essex LA Infolink site was facilitated by Shamsun Noor & Clare Ovenden as part of ESGA Coffee & Chat season 2025.

Clare went through the pages relevant to school governance illustrating the links and pages of guidance specifically targeting effective governance.

Clare also illustrated that each school governor with the permission of their head teacher can log into the secure school site to obtain key performance factors of their school, a key driver to effective support and challenge from the governors.

During the Q&A session it was noted that once signed on it required a log in within 90 days as part of security to avoid being locked out.

It was noted that certain criteria will be made more visible for easy access plus how Trustees of MAT'S can have access along with their fellow governors.
